Neil Allyn Tuxedo Shirt

$59.99 $26.99

NEIL ALLYN STYLE#506

The White Pintuck Laydown Tuxedo Shirt, crafted from a breathable cotton blend that is comfortable and light weight, features 1/8" pintuck pleats that travel down the front bib of the shirt. The laydown collar is a traditional design that pairs perfectly with any bow tie or necktie. The shirt cuffs are brilliantly designed as "convertible barrel cuffs" which allow you to wear the shirt either with or without cufflinks. However, we strongly suggest that cufflinks should always be worn if attending a formal event. The classic fit size scale appeals to most gentleman of all shapes and sizes.

(NOTE: formal jewelry set not included with shirt).

To measure your sleeve length:

A. Base of neck (backside, center)
B. Outside tip of shoulder
C. Outside bend of elbow
D. Wrist or the point at which you prefer the cuff to end

1. Rest your hand on the side of your hip, with elbow bent.

2. Measure as shown in the illustration: - Start at (A) the backside base of the neck, - past (B) the shoulder, - around (C) the elbow, - to (D) the wrist or the point at which you prefer the cuff to end.

The path of the tape measure should follow the outside of the arm.

COMMON MISTAKES WITH SLEEVE LENGTH:

Some gentleman will measure their "sleeve length" incorrectly because they will start their measurement at the "top of the shoulder" instead of starting at the "middle of the back / bottom of neck". This can often reduce several inches from your correct measurement. When this happens, gentleman will sometimes order a 30/31 sleeve instead of the desired longer sleeve length.

For reference, here are some general sizing guidelines regarding "shirt sleeve lengths":

30/31 sleeve = usually 5'5" or shorter
32/33 sleeve = usually 5'6" to 5'9"
34/35 sleeve = usually 5'10" to 6'1"
36/37 sleeve = usually 6'2" to 6'4"
38/39 sleeve = usually 6'5" or taller

* NOTE: obviously, gentleman come in different shapes and sizes so the above guidelines may not be 100% accurate for everyone; however, it does serve as a good general guideline
